The Dollar Tree has become one of my favorite stores since getting a Cricut. They carry a lot of great blanks that are perfect for customizing. I have compiled a list of 15 of my favorite Dollar Tree money makers!

  1. Wine Glasses

Get this “I WORKOUT” SVG cut file here!

Creative Fabrica has tons of design bundles! I think this funny wine quote bundle would be a great seller!
  2. Coffee Mugs
Who doesn’t love a hot cup of coffee in an adorable mug? Need some coffee cup inspiration? Check out these great designs!

  3. Plates
These Christmas plates for Santa are one of my best sellers during the holiday! With Easter right around the corner, Carrots for the Easter Bunny plates would be a great idea! Here’s another really cute Easter plate design!
  4. Water Bottles
Water bottles sell great any time of the year. They make great personalized party favors for kids birthday parties. Last year I made personalized water bottles for two preschool classes at the end of the school year. They were gifts from the teachers to their students. This Mermaid SVG would be great to sell on a water bottle!

  5. Picture Frames
Picture frames are a great blank to put your artwork on. I have made a ton of money selling split monogram artwork. Make sure you mirror your image and put it on the inside of the glass. It’s hard to clean when the vinyl is on the outside. Little pieces of paper towel will stick to the vinyl and it won’t look good over time.
  6. Oven Mits
Oven mits for teachers and grandparents are another one of my best selling items during the holiday. This whole set is purchased from the Dollar Tree. The materials cost a little over $3 and I sell the set for $10. These designs are perfect to put on oven mits or wine glasses!
  7. Kitchen Towels
Towels are a fun, practical thing to make and a great way to decorate your kitchen. These would look adorable in any kitchen!

  8. Jars
Jars are another fun thing to make with your Cricut! You can make cookie jars, swear jars, bathroom jars, or use it as a label maker. Make your own adorable spice jar labels with this file!
  9. Shirts
Birthday shirts are always in demand and great sellers. I make personalized shirts for my kid’s birthday party every year. They make cute keepsakes and the kids love making them with me. You can make your own fun designs like I do, or choose a ready made SVG like this.  Sierra’s black birthday shirt was purchased from the Dollar Tree!

You could start a t-shirt business just selling birthday shirts!
  10. Socks
I sold a ton of funny socks around Christmas time. I got a 3-pack for a $1 at the Dollar Tree and sold them for $5 each!
  11. Tealight jars
These cute little jars are from the Dollar Tree! The glittery flameless battery operated tealight is also…you guessed it…a Dollar Tree find!

  12. Elves
When I see these plush elves in my local Dollar Tree, I  buy them ALL! I’ve made over $500 each year selling these little personalized elves. People go nuts over them! I buy them for $1 and sell them for $5.
  13. Canvases
Reverse canvas projects are fun because you can put just about anything on them. They’re perfect home decor for any room in the house. The Dollar Tree sells several sizes of canvases in store and online. I use a staple remover to take off the canvas from the frame. Then I stain the frame, add my design with HTV, and reattach it to the frame. This process is called a reverse canvas. These designs would be super cute for a bathroom canvas.

  14. Ornaments
I love these white bell ornaments from the Dollar Tree! I saw some people in my area personalizing them for $5.
  15. Dry Erase Boards
I sold a bunch of these front door signs made out of dry erase boards!

Other great things to purchase at Dollar Tree for your Cricut business: Contact paper (to use as transfer tape), paper gift bags, tissue paper, price tags, mounting tape, bubble mailer envelopes, Modge Podge, ribbon, poster board, office supplies (pens, tape, permanent markers, packing tape) and boxes!
